What are the specs for YouTube Shorts?
- Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (vertical)
- Resolution: 1920 pixels height x 1080 pixels width (same as Facebook/Instagram Reels and Stories)
- Preferably has audio. Please ensure appropriate usage rights are in place to avoid getting a copyright infringement penalty from YouTube.
- Length: Max 30 seconds but preferably 15 seconds or less.
- YouTube Shorts are built for quick engagement and high energy, so the content of your ad should reflect that for best performance.
- For campaigns, it is preferable to have a standard horizontal ad as well as a YouTube Short running alongside each other to ensure we cover all possible ad placements.
