      How do I update my Net Affinity Website tracking to Advanced Consent Mode (Consent Mode V2) with Cookiebot?

      Please note: this guide applies to clients who are not contracted for marketing services with Net Affinity or avail of our Meta Search only marketing bundle. Net Affinity handles this integration for all marketing clients (except Meta Search only). 

      Please ensure you have followed the essential Google Tag Manager set up first before proceeding with these instructions.

      These instructions are for Net Affinity bespoke or template sites only. 

      1. Please visit the Admin Interface of your website by visiting the /admin path of your domain e.g. (https://www.myhotel.com/admin)
      2. Go to Settings > Site Settings > Integrations Tab (on some CMSes, the tab is named TEXTAREA Tab or GTM Tab. If you have trouble finding it or accessing it, please reach out to your client owner)
      3. Once you’re on the page where Google Tag Manager scripts are in place, please see the script underneath the instructions.
      4. Update the GTM ID and Cookiebot ID parts within the script. GTM ID is the ID of your GTM Container.
      5. Copy the script and replace it with the head part of the GTM script which has already been placed on your website.

      6. Save
      7. Please continue following the instructions for the Advanced Consent Mode implementation.
